Oppida was created by people who are passionate about cybersecurity and it is this same passion that we look for in our future employees. We are constantly recruiting new Oppida employees through a rigorous recruitment process to ensure that the projects and wishes of the candidates match the ambitions and values of the company.

 

Our needs

  • Do you have a first experience in the SSI field and a real knowledge of penetration tests and security audits: source code audits, architecture audits, configuration audits?
  • You are looking to progress and improve your technical skills, either on a personal basis with active participation on platforms such as ROOTME/Hack the box or through your participation in CTFs?
  • You have a good knowledge of system, network and application practices and you master at least one scripting language such as python, ruby? And if not, are you motivated to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge?
  • Do you want to work in a human-sized company with teams that listen to you and help you develop through their requirements and where mutual support is important?

guillemetsTell us about yourself, your job and how long you have been with OPPIDA?

 

Before joining OPPIDA, I was a freelancer for over 10 years in the same sector of activity.  Within the company, I appreciate the variety of the missions entrusted to me (risk analysis, support for the certification of management and industrial information systems, shared CISO, organisational and physical audits according to different standards). I also enjoy the human contact with my colleagues and clients, taking the time to understand them and provide them with the right technical or organisational solution to ensure that their projects are completed in the best possible conditions.

 

What do you particularly like about your job?

 

I like discovering new projects, in all their variety: I operate in different sectors (defence, banking, industry, space, local authorities, etc.). I also like to collaborate with my colleagues, to help them solve certain difficulties thanks to my experience (more than 25 years) and the many concrete cases that I have encountered myself.

 

What is the project that has impressed you the most since you joined OPPIDA?

 

It's not easy because all projects have different difficulties and therefore different successes.
But I'll talk about an assignment that started the week I joined OPPIDA and that I'm still leading today.  
An important local authority had been seriously attacked 2 months earlier. They were urgently looking for a shared-time CISO (5 to 10 days per month) to help them secure their information systems.  I was therefore able to exercise and deploy in this community, and with the help and technical support of my colleagues, the full range of services that OPPIDA can offer:

  • Complete audits of their IS, following several standards (Hygiene Guide, ANSSI cyber course)
  • Audit of their architecture
  • Intrusion tests
  • Phishing tests
  • Assistance in the design of calls for tender and their analysis, on the Cyber part
  • Implementation of an IT Charter, an ISP, various procedures (technological watch, application of security patches, etc.)
  • Drafting of technical clauses for contracts, on the Cyber part, in support of the legal department
  • Analysis of supplier contracts
  • Conducting POCs on security products (CISCO, RAPID7, MICROSOFT, SYSLOG, etc.)
  • Training and awareness-raising of the internal teams of the IT department and of the territorial agents.
